Virgil Abloh grew up outside of Chicago, and his first encounters with culture came through skateboarding, soul records, and graffiti books. While studying architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, he began making trips to New York City to shop. While there, he began blogging about skate clothing.

While he's known for his collaborations with Kanye West, he has also collaborated with other designers. Virgil Abloh's t-shirts are a great example of a collaboration between two visionaries. DeWitt was approached by Virgil Abloh about collaborating with him. The two had a chance to work together and produce an installation at the Dover Street Market Ginza. Virgil Abloh then introduced the artist to Kanye West commissioned DeWitt to create a DONDA sweatshirt.

The Life of Pablo Donda listening session long sleeve t-shirt is a unique fashion item inspired by the artist's album. Designed by Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga, the shirt is priced at $100. The long sleeve features religious iconography, a Mercedes Benz logo, and other designs.
